YOUR INFORMATION.
HANDLED WITH CARE.
This website displays our menu and contact details. It does not collect orders online, take online payments or provide a contact form. Crispy Chicken 786 Limited is responsible for the customer information described below.
Telephone orders and enquiries
We collect only what we need to fulfil your order, such as your chosen food, name or order reference, contact number and delivery address where needed. Orders are written on paper slips. We do not record telephone calls. If you contact us by email, we use the information you provide to answer your enquiry or deal with the issue.
Our lawful basis for taking and fulfilling orders is performance of a contract or steps you request before entering a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We keep required accounting and tax information to meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). We handle ordinary enquiries, complaints and website security on the basis of our legitimate interests in customer service, resolving problems and protecting our business and visitors (Article 6(1)(f)).
Allergy information
Allergy information can reveal health information. For routine order handling, our lawful basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), with explicit consent as our condition for health information (Article 9(2)(a)). Staff explain why the information is needed and ask for your explicit permission before recording it and sharing the necessary details with staff preparing and delivering your food. We keep a brief record of that permission. Access is restricted to people who need the information for safe preparation and delivery.
You can decline or withdraw this consent at any time by calling 07351 922159 or emailing crispychicken786@gmail.com. We will stop the processing that relies on that consent; withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew it. Staff will discuss what can safely be provided if necessary allergy information cannot be used. Please do not assume a dish is safe for you without discussing your needs with staff.
If allergy information must be kept separately for a specific legal claim, we use only what is necessary to establish, exercise or defend that claim (Article 6(1)(f) and Article 9(2)(f)). This is a separate purpose, not a reason to continue routine consent-based use after withdrawal.
Who receives information
Kitchen and delivery staff receive only the details needed to prepare and fulfil your order safely. If you choose card payment on delivery, SumUp processes the payment under its own privacy arrangements. We do not collect card details on this website. Information may also be shared where necessary with professional advisers, insurers, payment providers or authorities to deal with a specific refund, complaint, incident or legal obligation.
Customer information is not shared for marketing without separate appropriate authorisation. This website does not make automated decisions about you or profile you.
How long we keep information
Routine disposable paper order slips are securely destroyed after 30 days once they are no longer operationally needed. A slip is not destroyed under this routine rule if it is still required as an accounting, tax, refund, complaint or incident record. We retain only the information needed for the relevant purpose and securely dispose of it when the applicable retention period or need ends.
Accounting and tax records are generally retained for six years from the end of the company financial year they relate to, or longer where the law requires. Refund, complaint and incident records are retained for the time needed to resolve the matter and meet applicable legal, insurance and legal-claim requirements. Those requirements depend on the record and circumstances; we can explain the retention criteria for a particular record on request. Routine allergy notes are not kept simply because separate financial records must be retained.
Website hosting, fonts and cookies
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and may process technical information such as your IP address and request details. Google Fonts supplies the externally hosted fonts, so visiting a page sends a request to Google's font servers. These services may process information outside the UK under their applicable data-protection arrangements. Further information is available in Cloudflare's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.
The website does not intentionally use marketing trackers or non-essential cookies. There is no online checkout, customer account or advertising analytics on this site.
Your rights and concerns
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations or legal claims. Contact crispychicken786@gmail.com or call 07351 922159 to make a request or raise a concern.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data-protection regulator.
